Every Wren guitar is individually built to the highest possible standards using the finest materials available. No shortcuts are taken in this process. Each guitar is unique, and the extra time is taken during the building process to develop each guitar's individual voice.

My purpose is to provide high quality guitars that will allow my clients the freedom to express themselves musically, on instruments custom crafted to reflect their individual styles and needs. Aiding musicians in the design of an instrument that fits their playing style is the job of the custom luthier, and is one of the points that set the hand-built guitar apart from their factory-made counterparts.

Beginning with master grade spruces, cedar or redwood, each soundboard is individually voiced, braced and graduated to bring forth the best tone possible. This method of building does take extra time, but I feel the results are worth the time invested.

To lessen the possibility of twist or deformation, all Wren guitars are built with necks of selected ebony, maple and mahogany. These are then laminated for rigidity. In addition, a double-action truss rod is located in the neck to allow adjustment. This method of neck construction assures a neck which is strong and aesthetically pleasing.

From the process of material selection, through the building stages and finally to finishing and setup, a Wren guitar is constructed for maximum playability and a lifetime of pleasure.
